Lathe-machining-production department
The machines range from simple transfer machines for mass production to those of modern computer numerical control, from lathes with numerical control to robotic machines for automated working. Each activity is supported by an internal machine department (machine shop) for managing and developing the tools required for the various operations.
Warehouse and deliveries department
The goods are packaged and stocked or shipped.
Assembly and testing
The production is completed with all the components going through the manual and automatic assembly lines. Before proceeding to packaging, the product has to pass stringent tests that check its functionality and efficiency. In order to achieve this, Barberi is equipped with sophisticated testing and checking equipment to guarantee high standards of quality.
Acceptance
Here the raw material arrives, the semi-finished products and other components are checked, weighed and sent to the appropriate workshops. Whatever the destination of this material, it receives a bar code that, thanks to the digitial information technology installed by the company, allows the identification of the position or production process through which it is going at any stage of the processing phase. As the acceptance department is part of the Quality Department, we are able to guarantee a high level of quality of the material used, from their arrival in the company through to a strict management of non-conformity products.
Time and motion
This department cooperates with the production department to improve production efficiency and to reduce costs.
Technical department
The Technical Department inside the company is equipped with 2D and 3D design systems for calculating, dimensioning and developing every new article. This works in contact with all departments but especially in collaboration with the customer for guaranteeing a tailor made product.
Quality department
Barberi gives great importance to the quality of the product and customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this, every production process is monitored and checked by the Quality Department. Thanks to sophisticated control systems and to the implementation of complete working procedures, the Quality of the finished product is guaranteed.
Commercial office and accounts department
Every aspect of orders is handled here. Supply and purchase, cost analysis and whatever else concerns planning and production launch.
Hot pressing department
4 machine presses for hot stamping, numerous support tools and the in-house machine hop for developing and handling the moulds allow internal development of the majority of the items that make up the Barberi catalogue. Moreover, the flexibility of the machinery and many years of accumulated experience enable Barberi to manufacture smaller batches, and therefore meet the specific needs of the customers.
