Drain taps are used to empty the whole system or part of it. They are normally used in heating systems, heat generators (wall-mounted boilers, solid fuel generators, heat pumps) connected to other system components (distribution manifolds, monoblocs). Articles W09, W33, P59 all feature an adjustable drain.
